We run bookings during sunlight hours, 7 days, with the exception of our blackout season.

What fitness level do I need to play?
People of any fitness level can play. We have even accommodated people in wheelchairs, however, if you do have difficulty moving over rough ground please call up and discuss it with us before booking. Please also be aware of your own conditioning you will have an elevated heart rate which can cause asthma to be triggered or any underlying heart conditions. If you do have any conditions let our staff know and please remember to take appropriate medication with you.
What should I wear?
Make sure you have sturdy footwear. Apart from that - nothing else is really needed (we have seen a few stags in small togs play). We recommend loose fitting comfortable clothing that you are OK getting muddy. Long sleeved shirts and pants are great but don't wear anything that you will get too hot in. We will provide you with a camo cover shirt and can provide overalls if you require, but it is much more comfortable to wear your own clothing.
Do I need to bring anything?
Sturdy footwear, a water bottle and any medication that you might need. Everything else needed to play paintball is covered in your entry fee. If its a cold rainy day we also recommend a jacket and towel.
Does the Paint wash out?
Yes, paintballs wash out easily, for some porous clothing you may need to use a whitener.
How long will the session take?
Full contact sessions take just over 2 hours to get through with about 30 minutes of this time being spent prior to ensure you are all ready to play.
Kids reduced impact should have 1 hour and 45 minutes set aside with about 30 minutes of this time being spent making sure everyone is ready to play.
What can I expect from our session?
Our staff will guide you through several games of paintball tailored to your abilities. You can always make suggestions of games to play as well. We will get you geared up and take you to the field after our 3 part safety briefing taking about 30 minutes.
Is there a sheltered area for social events?
At Hostility Creek, we have a covered area you are most welcome to share food in after your event but we are on reserve land so have limited amenities. You will need to bring anything that you wish to use.
can i bring my own paintball gun?
Yes! You can bring your own paintball gun to any of our games as long as they are under 270 fps. Standard rates apply.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Private Games
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to your booking for a full refund. Reschedules must be made within a minimum of 24 hours of reserved day and you may reschedule up to 1 year from your original date. You may only reschedule up to 2 times.
Ticketed Games
We do not offer refunds for ticketed games. However, we may make exceptions to this if you contact us at least 7 days before your booking.
What happens in adverse weather?
Paintball is a winter sport, although some prefer to play on a sunny day. We will take you through any weather but if you wish to play in better conditions, you must reschedule at least 3 hours prior to your booking. You may reschedule up to 1 year from your original date. You may only reschedule up to 2 times.
Can I join in with my kids game?
We definitely condone shooting your children and you are most welcome to join them. Some kids love the opportunity to have Mum/Dad play with or against them and doing attack and defend against some parents is always a hit. If you do want to play, we will just charge you the same kids rate.
Do you take photos?
Our staff will try nab some photos of you playing. They can only do this when they have the opportunity, so we cannot guarantee it. We recommend you take your own pictures as well (when it is safe to do so).
How long does it take to get my photos?
Normally we will send you an email link with your photos, this can take up to two weeks after your game, if you don't get them by then feel free to follow us up and we will do our best to track them down.
What happens if there is an injury?
We have in-depth procedure manuals in place and you can read these details in our risk analysis. In the event of an injury, we always have a qualified staff member with a comprehensive first aid certificate on site. We also have a comprehensive custom-made first aid kit at both our fields.
Do you have eftpos on site?
Eftpos is our preferred method of payment so don't hesitate to bring your cards along.
What are your facilities?
We have a ready-room which we use to greet your group before taking you up to the playing field. This area is rough with tables and couches and unfortunately due to being on Council owned reserve land, we cannot provide any plumbed facilities. This means that if you're thinking of having food afterwards, cater for things like plastic cups, drinks, serviettes and hand sanitiser.

Yes, we have a portaloo available all year.

We don't have a physical office so if you would like to have a face-to-face discussion with a staff member or would like to view the fields during operation, we are happy to organise this with you, subject to availability. Call us or send us a message to make an arrangement.

Paintball are made of food grade gelatin and sorbitol, meaning you can eat them and they readily biodegrade. Our paintballs easily wash out of clothing.
I've Lost something while playing, what do I do?
Fill out our Lost Property Form. Unclaimed found items will be donated to charity after 14 days.
BUS HIRE
We are happy to organize bus hire for up to 50 people from Wellington City to our Lower Hutt Field (Hostility Creek) and back. Please let us know the number of people and the address you would like to be picked up from and we will provide you with a quote. Contact us for enquires.
